CAPTCHA solver pricing, compared per 1,000 solves
Every figure below was read off the vendor's own pricing page on 25 August 2026, and the URL is given so you can check it. Where a vendor does not publish a per-solve price, this page says so rather than deriving one.
Prices verified against each vendor's published pricing page on 25 August 2026. Rates change without notice — re-check before relying on any of them.
CAPTCHA solver prices per 1,000, side by side
Cloudflare Turnstile only. Vendors price per challenge type, so a blended or headline rate is not comparable — these are the Turnstile rows.
| Vendor | Per 1,000 Turnstile solves | As written on their page |
|---|---|---|
| SolveGate | $0.40 → $0.075 | per 1,000 solves, by prepaid pack |
| NextCaptcha | $0.60 | Captcha Pricing per 1000 pieces |
| SolveCaptcha | $0.80 | Price per 1000 |
| CapSolver | $1.20 | Price (USD / 1000 tokens) |
| CapMonster Cloud | $1.30 | 1000 tokens |
| 2Captcha | $1.45 | Price per 1000 |
| CaptchaSonic | $1.45 | Price / 1,000 |
| Anti-Captcha | $2.00 | Price per 1000 (pay-as-you-go) |
| DeathByCaptcha | $2.89 | /1K |
SolveGate is a range because credits are bought in prepaid packs and the effective rate falls with pack size: $0.40 per 1,000 on the smallest, $0.075 on the largest. The others quote a single rate.
Every vendor with a published per-solve price charges more than SolveGate's entry rate. The closest is NextCaptcha at $0.60, and it is also the one most likely to move — re-check it rather than trusting this page indefinitely.
The two vendors with no per-solve price
**Bright Data** sells Web Unlocker by the successful request, not by the solve: $1.50 per 1,000 requests pay-as-you-go, $1.30 at the Scale tier. Turnstile is listed as something it handles, but there is no Turnstile line item, so any per-solve figure for Bright Data is arithmetic somebody did, not a price they published.
**ZenRows** sells credits against a monthly plan. One credit is a standard page; JavaScript rendering costs 5, premium proxies 10, both together 25. You can derive a per-page cost from a plan price, but the derivation depends on which options you enable, and the result is not a number ZenRows quotes.
Both are legitimate models. They are simply not comparable to a per-solve rate, and presenting them as one would be misleading in whichever direction the arithmetic happened to fall.
Why most CAPTCHA pricing comparisons are wrong
Comparison tables in this category are frequently wrong, and the errors are rarely random. Two examples found while checking the numbers above:
- One vendor's own comparison table misstates **all four** of its rivals' Turnstile prices — 2Captcha as $1.99 against a published $1.45, CapSolver as $0.80 against $1.20, Anti-Captcha as $1.50 against $2.00, CapMonster as $0.80 against $1.30. Every error moves the rival's number toward the table's owner.
- Third-party roundups cite CapSolver at $0.65 per 1,000 where CapSolver's own documentation says $1.20, and derive CapMonster at $1.39 from a package price where the published rate is $1.30.
Two vendors also contradict themselves on their own sites: one page quotes a range starting at $0.99 while a block further down the same page says "from $1.39", and another advertises "from $1/1k" in its navigation while the lowest rate anywhere on its pricing page is $1.30.
The practical lesson is to read the vendor's own pricing page and note the date, which is why this one carries both.
What the price per 1,000 does not tell you
Two services at the same headline rate can differ substantially in what you actually spend.
- **Whether failures are billed.** A solve that times out, or that fails because a proxy dropped, is still work someone did. Check whether you pay for it — SolveGate does not bill any of them, and the error table on the solver pages marks which codes are free.
- **Whether credit expires.** A rate is worse than it looks if unused balance is written off at the end of a period.
- **Whether the rate is the rate.** Some vendors apply automatic volume discounts that are not published, so the list price is an upper bound rather than what a busy account pays.
- **What counts as one solve.** A challenge page that grants reusable clearance is one solve covering many requests; an inline widget is one solve per submission. The same crawl can cost very differently depending on which gate stands in front of it.
Free tiers vary too and are usually small: CapMonster mentions a $0.10 test balance on request, DeathByCaptcha 100 free credits at signup, Bright Data 5,000 free Web Unlocker requests a month, ZenRows 5,000 credits a month. SolveGate gives the first 1,000 solves free.
Common questions
Of the vendors publishing a per-solve rate on 25 August 2026, SolveGate is lowest at $0.40 per 1,000 on the smallest prepaid pack and $0.075 at the largest. NextCaptcha is next at $0.60, then SolveCaptcha at $0.80. Bright Data and ZenRows are cheaper or dearer depending on how you model their per-request and credit pricing, which is exactly why this page does not put a number against them.
Because they meter different things. "Per 1000 tokens", "per 1000 pieces" and "per 1K" all mean one solved challenge, but a per-request price like Bright Data's counts every fetch whether or not a challenge stood in the way, and a credit price like ZenRows' varies with the options you enable. Compare like with like, or you are comparing a solve against a page load.
They are the published list rates. At least two vendors reference automatic volume discounts without publishing the resulting rates, so a high-volume account may pay less than the table says. Treat every figure here as an upper bound and confirm with the vendor if you are committing to volume.
Not on its own, but price is only one of the numbers. Success rate and time to solve determine how many retries a job needs, and whether failed attempts are billed determines what those retries cost. A service that charges nothing for a timeout and clears in a second can be cheaper in practice than one with a lower headline rate that bills every attempt.
Often enough that an undated comparison is worthless. This page carries the date it was checked and the URL for every figure so you can verify rather than trust. If you are reading it long after August 2026, check the vendors directly.
Because credits are bought in prepaid packs and the effective rate depends on pack size — $0.40 per 1,000 at the smallest, $0.075 at the largest, and a curve in between. Quoting only the floor would be the same trick this page criticises: a rate nobody starting out can actually buy.
